Joel's gorgeous cutaway + scratch pad with the rosette theme carried on - genius



Perfectly quartered Brazilian Rosewood + brushed brass inlays set into the back strip



And possibly the highlight of this masterpiece - the headstock. It comes with a Matsuda inspired extended bass with Joel's own touch of the banjo capo, and Keith locking banjo tuners on the trebles

So as if this guitar isn't crazy enough, I thought I would show you guys how Joel Michaud continues to push the boundaries of guitar building. This is one of the latest guitars he is working on for a very very lucky customer in the rarest wood of all - "The Tree" Quilted Mahogany. And not just that, it's an ALL "Tree" guitar. Check it out:
