Recently I was resurrecting some of my vinyl, and the Michael Hedges albums and other Windham Hill stuff were some of the treasures (in retrospect some of that WH stuff was kind of processed redundancy, obviously not the Hedges stuff). One interesting observation, 30+ years later -- the vinyl on most of these albums seems to be higher grade (literally heavier) than most of the random rock / pop albums from the same time. Very noticeable when this collection was not always in the best of conditions. I have most of this on CD too, so this was first revisit of the vinyl since the late 90s.

That song...in the late 80's.. convinced me to start learning the guitar. I am so glad that he and others since then have broken new ground in the acoustic guitar world.
