As a youngster (21) can confirm the songs that Laughingboy68 put out there. Having a variety of older and newer songs is definitely the best way to go to please a crowd my age. Many probably haven't heard some of the 60s-70s stuff.

Cant believe I am about to say this....

Taylor Swift's acoustic cover of EW&F's September is pretty decent. And I don't like Taylor Swift. I would do this at an open mic.

I got a flock of Seagulls, a Martin, a Breedlove, A Resophonic (I need to play), a new Gretsch and a old G&L that require electricity to sound good. I got an electric bass too, and a mandolin that I have played, maybe, 3 times. For snicks and grins I just bought a lap steel. God only knows why. And then...there's all those drums and drum accessories. I need help.
