Default Vocal effects pedal reccommendation

Howdy,
Need a recommendation for a reliable and simple vocal harmonizer effects pedal. I’d like to run a guitar through it to get the harmony info and a single mike input for the lead. It will be fed to a single amp along with a beat buddy and looper. Nice if it had a doubler-flanger function and reverb but not essential. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

This one is popular, the TC-Helicon Harmony Singer 2. I have it and like it:

The Harmony Singer has the harmonies and reverbs but no other effects. You’d have to look at the larger pedals for doubling etc etc.

I think the simple TC pedals are fantastic and even without the effects the do a quick job of cleaning up and EQ on the vocals

I have had the TC pedals. Work well, lots of features. The Boss V8 also works quite well, and, IMHO was a bit easier to setup and use, but I could live with either one…..

Looking around for sellers, the TC Harmony Singer 2 is basically impossible to find right now. Prob all stuck in a container ship off the coast of LA with no-one to unload them.

I really like the Harmony Singer 2. The tone button alone is worth the price of admission.

I'd check eBay and Reverb. There's several being advertised on eBay from Japan right now. I don't know how that interacts with the rest of the shipping gridlock, but the ones that I checked estimated arrival about a month from now.

The TC Helicon Gxt is a simple pedal that offers reverb and vocal harmonies. I don't think it is being made any longer, but a quick internet search shows there are still some in stock, as well as used ones. I used that pedal for years to add reverb and harmonies with my Bose L1c.

I "upgraded" to the TC Helicon Play Acoustic a few years ago. More effects, far more harmony controls, and a built-in looper. This is more complicated to use than the Gxt due to the "menu dive" you have to do to set all the options (that's why I put "upgraded" in quotes)... I get the sound I like then don't mess with it, just set up different harmonies so they are a footswitch click or two up/down.

I prefer the simplicity of the Gxt, but having all the EQ/effects options on the Play Acoustic is what led me that direction.

Sounds like either would give you what you're looking for.

As an alternative to the HS2.
I now use the Boss VE-2 Vocal Harmonist.
It is a terrific pedal and has enhanced my performances.
Runs on 4 AA batteries or 9V adapter.
It offers quite a bit in a small easy to use pedal and similar price point.

Among the TC Helicon offerings I have tried:

H1

D1

SingThing (marketed more like a toy, but really is quite sophisticated and -I think- a good option for performance on-stage. Has speaker to be a monitor and D.I. output to the house PA or could be your only amp in a very small venue)

Harmony GxT

I find the GxT to be really quite good and usable.

I have not tried the Harmony Singer (one or two) - I preferred the simpler H1. I would really like to try the Voicelive Touch (one or two) because it can be controlled with a foot switch but mounts on a mic stand (so you can change settings by hand between songs in performance).

I'm a very satisfied Harmony G-XT user as well.
Worth checking it out.

Have you compared it to any of the TCH products?

I have owned a few TC Helicon products including Play Acoustic, Perform VG and Mic Mechanic.
They are all excellent.. Sound and work great.

But I've really been digging the Boss VE2 for Live shows!
It is very easy to use and sounds fantastic for my live solo Guitar/Singer performances.
Plus it has a real easy to use - user interface IMO.
