I was reminded of Earl by another post this morning, and realized that we haven’t heard from him in a while - not since March, in fact.

Anyone been in touch recently? Hope he’s ok.

Good of you to notice. I've had several contacts with Earl dealing with guitar options and problems. He's taken a wooden turn of play and has become more focused on home base. But he's still in play.

Have you noticed that we haven't heard much from Kramster recently? Life throws a lot of curves and people seem to emerge and recede. Some waves last longer than others and then tend to be missed more when they don't roll in--Earl was on a forum roll for quite a while.

Good to hear that he’s ok. You’re right about the phases that folks go through here - it just struck me (rather belatedly) that 5 months absence was rather a long ‘phase’.

Kramster is a law unto himself I’m quite sure he’s lurking here much of the time, but he also seems to go through phases where he only speaks when spoken to. Always welcome when he does come out the shadows.

I lured Mr. K out just long enough for him to beam me his Savoy. A few emails later and he's gone. I suspect (hope) that both he and Earl re-emerge.
