 SOLD When you’re not sure of the exact number it’s probably time to let some go. I’ve selected this guitar because I simply don’t play it much. I think that it’s a touch too deep for me to play comfortably. It is a very special and perhaps one-of-a-kind guitar. It’s made by Larrivee which has a stellar reputation for producing excellent guitars at very accessible prices. The two obvious features that set this guitar apart are: - It’s shape. The LS shape is unique to Larrivee. (See dimensions below) You just don’t find many of these floating around. - It’s back & sides. The Zebrawood is truly stunning to look at and it sounds awesome. Plenty of low end, especially for a smaller-than-dreadnought size. I commissioned this guitar through Wildwood Music in Ohio, and it took about 7 months for me to get it in February, 2019. As mentioned above, I think it’s a bit too deep. Here are the dimensions: - Lower bout: 15” - Upper bout: 11” - Waist: 9.75” - Depth: 4.2” - Scale length: 25.5” - Nut width: 1.75” - This particular guitar is a 12-fret join The -40 series of Larrivee guitars includes the herringbone, Maple binding of body and fretboard, and the Martin-esque headstock. It has a satin finish. I can find no blemishes at all. Probably because of the little bit extra in depth, it’s got a nice low end. $SOLD Original hard side case included. I can’t believe this guitar hasn’t sold. I have an L-03Zw with moonwood over Zebrano. The zebra wood has plenty of low end without becoming muddy and your guitar with the 12 fret design and the 40 series bracing should sound stellar. If I didn’t have mine I would be all over this one.
