Honestly, Bartok is not something I would usually listen to but, something made me click on your link. I'm so glad I did. That was wonderful! Thanks for posting it!

Thank you for posting this brilliant performance!

This must have been a massive undertaking. The original violin piece is hard enough, and arranging it for guitar seems to be an effort beyond my imagination. I probably wouldn't go beyond a few bars. This is a nice demonstration of what the guitar is capable of doing.

Wow...very impressive!!

I hope you don't mind my asking, but would you share with us how long it takes to get piece of that complexity and length into "performance" shape?

Great work!

To GerryTB. It takes some time to get a pieces like this ready for use First of all, I have to spend alot of time just trying different solutions to find what could be the most suitable for the guitar. And often there is not just one! Then you have to choose!!! But I geuss approx. 6-8 month from the point where I begin to the where I decide to record it. Best wishes

Well I for one am happy that you did it!...Sounds great!
And your 6-8 month time frame doesn't even count the time it took to get your technique up to a level where you could attempt compositions like this.

I would imagine this is a piece that you can proudly play for the rest of your life.

Thanks again for posting it.

I ditto bings statement that Bartok is not music that I generally listen to...but this was an amazing labor of love. Thanks for sharing.

On a lighter note, our dog Bella is a Vizsla, a breed that orginated in Hungary. So we named our dog after the composer: Bella Bark Talk.
