Say what you will...that is a lot of bang for the buck! I owned one a while back. Probably my first decent acoustic with electronics. I remember Paying $1k with the discount. So yeah...at $600 it's a great deal!

BL just updated the Stage series. They now have all solid tone woods. Still, $599 was a good price.

Bought my stage dreadnought just before Black Friday at the same price and the deal has remained ever since. At the time it was advertised as having laminated sides, now I see they updated the series.
I just received it yesterday, so all I can say now is that the workmanship is very, very good. Could not find any blemish. Also, my guitar travelled across the Atlantic and arrived almost perfectly tuned I just picked it up and played it - it's well set up as well, I don't think I will need to adjust the saddle.
