Nothing can damage the CF fretboard, short of extreme physical or machine-aided violence.

Stickers won't hurt it in the slightest. I'd never use them, because I know I'd be incapable of applying them accurately, and any misalignment would drive me nuts.

Looking at them in detail. Nothing as beautiful as the shamrocks of Al. Wonder if they can add them after assembly?

I do seem to recall that the answer to that question was “No”, but after a very fine spaghetti and meatball dinner, I can’t quite summon up the energy to verify it

If they stick in the first place would be the only issue. They wouldn't damage the board at all, and you could clean of any residue with some acetone if you want to remove them.

Id imagine the fear is clamping a finished guitar causing damage, and also sanding the inlays flat without removing frets is a pain. To remove frets would likely mean refinishing the paint on the sides of the neck.
