Anyone think that Mcpherson will come out with a 12 string version in the carbon series?

In our lifetime? Probably not.

The XP model in carbon with a 12 string option would be in line with their wood series.

As an owner of a Touring and a Sable, I called McPherson to ask that question. As of November last year a 12 String is not in their plans and the tooling would make a 1 off custom build impossible.

They also have no plans for a larger Sable when I called them. I think it would cannibalize sales of their larger guitars.

Funny, I asked about a year ago also... They said the same thing ..." not in our plans". He also mentioned they are having a hard enough time keeping up with their current orders :-). I love my touring but would be tempted with a 12-string Sable... since the neck is bolted on ... how hard would it be to design a new neck and bridge... just saying ... hahaha ... sure it is more involved than that ;-).

Keep asking folks... you never know !!!
