Gibson Fullers 2008 1939 J-35 Reissue SOLD
Up for sale is my Gibson Fullers 1939 J-35 reissue from 2008. Adirondack top with mahogany back and sides, 1.77 nut width and a luthier’s choice neck. Amazing tone on this one. Tuners were swapped out by previous owner, originals included in case. There is a pickup on this guitar as well.
SOLD Here’s a sound sample of this guitar: IMG_1114.jpg IMG_1115.jpgIMG_1116.jpgIMG_1117.jpgIMG_1118.jpgIMG_1119.jpgIMG_1120.jpgIMG_1121.jpg Last edited by mystfingerstyle; 12-07-2021 at 02:48 PM. |

I have to say, this one complements your style way better than any of the other guitars imo. It's really hard to get great tone out of a big body guitar with a bare fingers attack, but this one does it, sounds rich and full, and is a pleasure to listen to.

Almost gave away your identity with that pic of the back . That aside, really great sounding Gibson. Best with the sale....Robert

How would you describe the luthiers choice neck profile for those who haven’t played it? Fuller/thinner? Significant taper up the neck, or more modern? V, c?

It’s definitely a fuller C profile. It does taper up the neck, I think the measurements that the previous owner gave me were around .90 at the first fret and .99 at the 12th fret. Definitely a very comfortable neck. |
