For many years now, all my T shirts are the plain, no logo, solid color ones from American Eagle...no more expensive than any decent T, and I buy a stack of them when they run the bogo sales...they fit good, launder well, and they last for several years.

Some other quality brands I've bought are LL Bean and Eddie Bauer. They both lasted a long time and had a good fit for me. Good luck.
Ditto for Eddie Bauer and LL Bean, and for Henleys.

Used to like Patagonia Tshirts, but usually avoid logos nowadays. I have some that are 20 years old with lots of wear. So comfortable.

In recent years, I have found LL Bean "Carefree Unshrinkable T Shirts" fit perfectly and last. Less expensive too. Prefer pockets. Like the colors too.

t-shirts are so hit and miss...the best ones that I have found are located randomly when out shopping. Mail order t-shirts vary so much in feel, fit and thickness that I can't really offer help since my luck is varied.

Had to google painters pants...the pictures I saw were what we call carpenters pants. Wrangler makes some good ones that are not too expensive, and come in a few colors. As I have gotten older and my shape has changed from slim and trim during the 1970's to more stout, I really enjoy the fit and comfort of carpenter pants...might be worth a look?

Wrangler T-shirts are decent. Double collar around the neck.

Redhead brand at Bass Pro has excellent t's, henleys, and polos. No logos, nice heavy fabric with double stitched seams, and a good fit for my body style. They launder nice and wear very well too. Lots of colors and the price is right.
