It's always fun. I've found that the most difficult part is deciding that the one you just played is IT and stopping the search. Best of luck!

I just played a Martin OMC up at Appalachian Bluegrass in Catonsville, MD. this guitar played like butter./ I need a shorter scale guitar. but this was great. used, a worth the price IMHO.

Yep, That is correct.... I am pretty sure I have sold "The One" 10 times over already.... If only I can get one of them back....

GarthJMoore... Thank you for the heads up on that Martin... Martin can be hit or miss at times... but a good one is tough to beat !

Yes I think a 12 fret 000 guitar is the absolute best for finger style and while my Collings 0002HC is not Brazilian, it still remains as one of the best I’ve played. That said, it’s hard to believe you let go of this D2HT I just picked up from you. Now that we have bonded I find it hard to put down. For my style this particular D has everything my O00 12 fret has but louder and sings with the angels!

A previous reply mentioned a Martin 000-28VS ticking most of the boxes. (but not cutaway)
Superb tone for fingerstyle.
There is a great vid of Matt from Eddie's Guitar's giving a review.
I have a 2002 Martin 000-28VS for sale (Virginia Beach) if you are near the area and would like to try it out.
25.4" scale
East Indian rosewood B&S.
1-13/16ths nut spacing
2-5/16ths bridge string spacing

Frank, I am so glad you love that guitar !! It is definitely a good one... if I could sit a dread on my lap and reach the whole neck at the same time, I'd have kept it... Enjoy it in good health !

Dwight.... Thank you for the heads up on the Martin... I am a fan of those 000's no doubt... but I need the cutaway to get up the board... I'm not concerned about making the cutaway since "My Dad is a TV repairman, he has an awesome set of tools" I am just not sure that I have enough glue !!!
