Default Erich Solomon Koa Phi-tomic archtop guitar build

Here is the other guitar that I am finishing up, it is not quite done yet. If this was not a commission, this one would truly be a keeper. Nuff said!

Wow that is just stunning! I love the headstock... I don't see the truss rod cover so I'm guessing there's going to be some type of inlay going into that recess, but I gotta say I love the green against the green accents on the body.

Truss rod cover not yet made, pickguard not attached and the French polish finish has not yet been rubbed out. Coming soon! Thanks! Erich

Mr. Solomon,

I've seen and played a lot of guitars but I have never seen such beautiful instruments like those that come out of your shop! I admire your artistry.

Thanks for sharing

So, Erich, what is that expanse of green in the middle of the headstock? Is that some dyed maple? It almost look like green cloth in the photo.

This is the one I meant in my comments in your baritone thread. Wow, that just kills me. So gorgeous! I'm nowhere near in a position to buy anything soon, but could please PM me and let me know what a comparable Phi-Tomic would sell for?

Thanks Erich, and gorgeous work!

Thanks, I will add new pics when it is complete! The pickguard really adds to its overall appearance.

I have always liked the looks of your guitars, always different and tasteful. Wish there was somewhere close by where I could play one. Thanks for starting this thread.
