Default Tom Sands Guitars meeting...

This is the first time that it has happened...but we managed to get four of Tom's guitars in the same place at the same time...

Numbers: 3, 4, 8 & 9!

And what a lovely time we all had!

And, on July 15th, as part of a larger meeting, number 5 will be on display!

Cheers,

Ian

Yes, indeed.

A couple of Kostals thrown in as well, one making a brief return to its former home and brought soundboard-to-soundboard with the evil nylon string that forced it's departure.

Also a Forster, Bashkin, Bamburg and Kinnaird I think. All were really great instruments. What a smorgasbord, reminding all present that we truly live in the Golden Age of lutherie and that's there's something for all pockets.

This was a rather impromptu and all-too-brief meeting precipitated by teh delivery of a couple of Sands guitars. Ian's legendary July bash next month will be far better: One of the high points of my year these days.

Cheers,
Steve
