Default Dueling Larrivee Guitars (LV-10 vs. C-10)

Hey all,

Matt Thomas and I recently put together this video for Larrivee Guitars' YouTube channel as part of their "Fingerstyle Series" and I thought I would share.

This is his tune "Great Bleached Reef" that he used to compete in the 2017 Winfield Guitar competition where he won the LV-10 I'm playing here. Here he is playing a custom C-10 (Moon Spruce/Ziricote). Quite a fun tune!

Hope you all enjoy!

Insane playing and great songwriting. I’m going to assume getting a Larrivee won’t instantly get me playing like you.

It took some time to get this dialed in, I'll say, But I'm happy with the result as well!

Thanks for the kind words, I think Larrivee's have such a nice balance for this type of playing so I can say with confidence they do help you play better overtime! Have been playing them for performances exclusively for 5 years now and these two in particular are really inspiring.

Oh my!
What a fantastic tune and playing.
And those guitars... what a dream they are. Quite in the right hands, fortunately.

They're both a lot of fun, they say money can't buy happiness but I wanted to buy that LV-10, lol definitely the best Larrivee I have played and have played maybe 20 upper-end ones

Awesome. Y’all were twin llamas from different mamas on that one (inspirational credit to title of an album collaboration of Tim Weisberg and Dan Fogelberg).

I am in awe...You guys wanna make me put my acoustic away, you are THAT good.
