Nylon string implies it was Evan's guitar since he's the only one I know who plays nylon. That is how logic works, right? Also if you squint your eyes you can pretend to see his initials in the script on the face of the guitar. So Evan it's on you to tell me a bit more about this guitar.

I am interested in trying more strings. It'd be nice having the bass range to fool around with while playing chord with the upper 3 or 4 strings. Wonder how the low C# resonates?

Ok, now I’m over $100,000 in unsatisfied guitar lust for this year.

I couldn’t even get use to the 7 string Godin that I tried (and then sold) a few years ago.

I don’t even care for guitars with a radiused neck.

I’d still like to play that guitar.

Does it sort of look like "Nola", with the hound attached??

I suppose someone could always ask Emerald to interpret the meaning of the script . . . .

Isn't "the hound" the creature in Emerald's logo and headstock???

At my old local (translation: pub where I spent entirely too much time) in England, the landlord's dog was known as the Hound of the Basket Meals.

Looks like Rufus the Emerald Hound to me, perhaps with some hidden characters embedded.

I was seeing it as NORD. Which makes me wonder: why was Paul barefoot on the cover of Abby Road? Is this a message from Emerald? Do you think it's safe for me to take off my tin foil hat?

Daddy! Why are you selling the guitar with my name on it and not my sister's?

Yeah, I see it now. Though it almost could be "Nola". I can see the "R" now, though, to me, although seeing it as an "L" is equally possible.

I'm sure the background story is interesting and curious to know what how the other guitar was configured.

I think that Wicked Wahine's Emerald book has the story, but I would have to browse it again. As I recall, this one was built for a pro musician who is really into multi-string guitars. "Only" nine strings was about the least of them.... Others have more strings and cello pegs to hold them vertically.
