Well, last week.

American Professional Tele, Surf Green, one piece Rosewood Neck. It's dreamy:

great looking tele, and, with 3 barrels.

if it appeals to you, a mint green-very light pickguard would go well with that surf green. perhaps even a creme guard. i like the rosewood that really offsets the green body.

i have a 58 american vintage tele that plays really well.

play music!

Great looking guitar and love those Fender custom colours. (I've got a Stratocaster in seafoam green with a maple neck/fretboard).

I think the neck and the green body look nice together.

Thank You all folks! You would think a guy like me would do lots of Surf but no, I don't. We didn't do any back then, and sadly, still don't. I am no Dick Dale, that's for sure, and I admire anyone that does that stuff.

Love the color. I seem to be really digging the “vintage” vibe guitars lately. Love that color. How’s the rosewood neck fair in tone and playability? Did it “smooth” out the highs a bit? Perhaps a bit warmer sounding than a traditional maple neck/board?

I would say that yes, this stock single coiled tele is considerably warmer than my one piece maple Tele and Esquire, and they both have Duncan stacks in them.
