Default Shipping guitar from US to Canada

I have a guitar in a Calton case (big and heavy!) that I want to ship to Canada. Any sense if USPS is the best way to ship it? It's a Koa guitar. Any problem with that? Or should I use a different shipper?

Thanks in advance for any help.

In my experience with shipping to and from US to Canada,USPS is the better alternative.

The others may try to collect a "brokerage" fee which is usually a scam.

Never had any issue with USPS regarding items to and from Canada.

Others may have a different opinion.

I’ve had two guitar necks snap off in shipping. Some workers may not care and and could abuse your guitar. Do all you can do in packing to help it make it.

Be prepared for customs to unpack and repack your guitar, should they choose. Doesn't happen every time, but I had a problem with that about 10 years ago and just won't take the chance again.
