For Sale: SOLD Beautiful Taylor GA4 Sitka/Ovangkol - Price Change

I’m a huge fan of Ovangkol. I also have an Irvin with this tonewood and it’s absolutely lovely. So here we are with a 2007 Taylor GA4. For those that prefer no Taylor electronics, this one checks that box. I had read, but cannot confirm, this series had thinner tops. Again, I never could confirm this. I will say this Taylor is more responsive than any I’ve played. I bought this one from a guy in LA who used it for years in his studio for recording.

For a 17 year old guitar it does have a few impressions on the top. I photographed as best I could. Nothing significant and no cracks. A few lacquer bubbles around the tuning posts. Pretty typical of older Taylor’s.

Standard GA specs, 1-3/4” nut, 2-3/16” bridge string spacing, ebony fretboard. Some pretty cool bear claw on the Sitka top. Satin finish on the back and sides. I put on some gold Gotoh 510 tuners but can send along the old style Taylor chrome dimple tuners. Mounting these would reveal the screw holes.

Action at the 12th: low E 0.100”, high e 0.080”
Saddle height: 0.148” at center
Neck angle: Straight edge on frets just clears the bridge
