Default Power adapter question

My T-Rex pedal requires 12V, 560mA. My Harmony Singer requires 12V, 400mA. Can I just use a generic 12V, 1A adapter and daisy chain them? Worried about damaging them.

They have such power adapters for $10 brand new on EBay. The ones in my local music store are $40.

Was also wondering why a company who makes the 1 Spot wouldn’t make a 12V version? Seems like it would be easy enough. Market not big enough?

You could, but often 12 volt systems use a slightly different barrel jack, 5.5/2.5 mm OD/ID, instead of the stop box 5.5/2.1 standard. The "stomp box standard" is negative tip. Most 12 volt supplies from the CCTV and computer networking markets are positive tip (and are just as plentiful in options as the music store stomp box stuff...you're just in the wrong store). So after you've got the right cable (and or adapters) it can work, but all these details need to be right.
