Hi friends!
I made a new video comparing two great Santa Cruz 00 guitars: a Skye and a 1929. Listen to how completely different two 00 guitars from the same maker can sound - here's proof that there isn't just a single "Santa Cruz sound" (or "Collings sound", "Goodall sound", etc). Guitar manufacturers, especially at this quality level, are fully capable of creating wonderful instruments with vastly different "personalities". Of these 00's, one is super lively, loud and complex, full of overtones. The other is smooth, warm, fundamental and oh-so-sweet. Both are equally soulful and beautifully constructed - I would expect no less from SCGC!
