SOLD: Bamburg JSB Brazilian/Cedar Beauty
One of kind Jeff Bamburg creation. This guitar was built in 2012 for the owner Heart’s Home Acoustics in the San Antonio area. He supplied old-growth Brazilian rosewood for the back and sides and cedar for the top from his private stock. Jeff Bamburg told me this quality of Brazilian would add approximately $1,500 to the price of his stock guitar.
This model has been described as clear and warm with a fast attack. It excells at fingerstyle but as you might imagine very capable at strumming and light flatpicking. The cantilevered neck allows the whole soundboard to vibrate freely. The design and set up on this guitar makes it very comfortable to play sitting or standing. Sound Board - Western Red Cedar Back - Old growth Brazilian Rosewood Sides - Old Growth Brazilian Rosewood Cutaway - Beveled Venetian Neck - Cantilevered Mahogany, modified oval shape Nut Width - 1.75" Headstock Veneer - Ebony front and back Rosette - Indian Rosewood circle Scale length - 25.4 Fretboard - Ebony String Spacing - 2.25” Nut - Bone Saddle - Bone Bridge - Ebony Bindings - Ebony Tuners - Gotoh 510 Ryan style arm bevel Case - Ameritage custom I’m new to AGF but have done numerous transactions on eBay, the Gear Page and Craigslist. I’ve shipped guitars successfully overseas. I’ve also done business with Jrobsocall, who’s a member of this forum. The JSB is in excellent condition. Last edited by bfoura; 05-29-2019 at 10:15 PM. Certainly appears NICE
I second Fitness' questions.
Also, it might help to know the neck shape/carve/feel, and the action/string height, etc. No sound port? Nice bevels... I LOVE bevels! The one Bamburg I have gotten to play was a VERY NICE axe. Best on this and I hope you do not miss her too much Paul

Instrument is listed as in excellent condition. String spacing is 2.25”. Neck shape is a modified oval. Year built is 2016. Action is same as it left the shop, so very playable. Of course, this is subjective and can be easily adjusted to personal preference. Thx.

It might be worth checking the year built........The bridge is Jeff's older style which I picked up on right away. The serial number on yours is 12-30, which translates to 2012 as the build year and the 30th guitar Jeff built. My 2013 Bamburg FSC is serial number 13-40 just 10 guitars from yours, and I know this was built at the very end of 2013 and may have crossed over to early '14 as I have my guitar on Jeff's Facebook page in very early '14, but listed as a '13. As you know, Jeff's guitars rocketed to the top of the heap very early regardless of build date and number completed. But, just thought I'd mention this in the event that it's new info. Best wishes, Fred

Lol, the cassette deck is a museum piece. The albums get played quite a lot. Lots of interest in the Bamburg but still looking for the right partner.

Bump for a Bamburg!! Just finished playing my Bamburg FSC with fresh strings and wanted to give this one a boost.
Jeff's guitars took an immediate early jump to be represented by both Dream Guitars, N.C. and North American Guitars in London. That says a lot. I think someone will really enjoy this beauty!!
