Default hohner parts

I have a Hohner MW-400N Guitar, One of the tuning pegs has broken off and defied my efforts to fix it. I have been in contact with Hohner (who doesn't make parts for that guitar and had none left), a couple of sites claimng to have "all hohner parts" ( they don't) and ordered from my local music store (wrong part). I am out of known options.
Anyone have any ideas what I can do? I'd like to play my guitar again, it's the only one I've got.
Thanks for your time and consideration.
John E
