On a side note here, I purchased a J-45 before the bankruptcy and only really bought it to say that I had a pre-bankruptcy Gibson. Now, I've fallen in love with the guitar, but I'm starting to think that if Gibson does in fact fire Henry and right the ship, maybe all of our pre-bankruptcy Gibsons will lose value on the used market?

This will be interesting to watch for sure. If Gibson can focus on guitars and quality and lower prices, I have a feeling it will be hard to get the value out of our Gibsons on the used market going forward if new guitars are perceived as being of higher quality at lower prices.

Whatever that means. I guess there are now ten zillion pre-bankruptcy Gibsons.

Stead, thanks. I'm not from Nashville, but know folks who do. Henry has created a very toxic work environment at Gibson, from everything I've heard.

Yes, there are widespread stories he is not the nicest person to work for. I remember one of these stories hitting the news not too long ago.

I have not read this thread as it's a lot to take in but...

I saw an article and thought I'd share in case some of you missed it. Agree or disagree...an interesting read either way.
