I agree with this. I have K&K dual source rigs (Pure mini plus internal mic) and I run the mic at 55-60%, and solid stage volumes with both floor monitors, and big sub-woofers.

In the cases (rare) where they want to over crank either, I just put in the big-black-soundhole-plug and it's always solved the issue. Even my Lute Hole covers work in these circumstances.
