Default If anyone is going to NAMM...

Mike Baranik is going to be at National Resophonic's booth. He might have a certain italian/cocobolo Meridian with him. If so... be gentle.

That's what it's there for. Of course, I'm not sure you'll actually be able to hear anything there, especially if people are demoing some Nationals!

I keep waiting for someone to offer me a ticket....

PS _ I'd love to check that one out (ever so gently, of course)

Default Namm

Hi,

I went and met up with Mike. He only had a palor guitar with him at the booth, but it was nice!

Lot of great guitars there. I couldn't hear much with all the noise. Lot of big name guitar guys there. I also caught up with some past friends.

I only go every few years otherwise it gets old. This year I was sponsored by Dick Boak from Martin. Ended up buying a great Custom 000 14 fret cutaway. So the free ticket cost me big bucks......

Yeah, apparently my guitar had everything but the bridge glued on, and just missed the show. Well, at least it won't be "used" when I get it...

12th Fret has a really nice selection and description of the NAMM show, and many of the booths and personalities there. Very informative, and very nice pix. Check 'em out...

well....has it arrived yet???

I am kind of jazzed that my "used/new" one was played by lots of people at Montreal, Healdsburg, and at Mike's shop and elsewhere. Kind of adds to the provenance!!

Looking forward to seeing / hearing yours...

Phil
