Bourgeois custom nut width and spacing

Hi all,

I just wanted to share an information that was new to me. It is possible to custom order a Bourgeois with pretty much any nut width (up to 1 7/8) and string spacing you can imagine. I know because I ordered an OMS with a 1 13/16 nut and 2 5/16 spacing at the bridge. It adds an extra 300,00 though if it differs from their usual 1 23/32 or 1 3/4. I always thought they offer nothing wider than 1 3/4, which is why I was never really thinking of buying a Bourgeois before.

Huh... I'd surprised they (or any small builder) wouldn't build almost anything you'd want. They are after all primarily a custom shop.

I know the Martin custom shop has some limitations with what combos they allow for particular nut/string spacings.
