After looking at some of these photos, any guitar with plastic....old, new, vintage....of mine...could end up on the front lawn! Including a custom with what I thought was very smart faux tortoise binding.....

Kidding! I like the old plastic when it has gone nicotine bleached bourbon beer drenched.....

The custom 15 with rosewood in the previous shows it doesn’t have to be complicated to be stunning!

Yes!

It has made it difficult for those deciding on a new build - what to use for binding.

There must be rules somewhere, written or unwritten, for good taste in binding selection.

eg. Lowden use flamed Maple or Sycamore a lot....flamed or grained stands out more and doesn’t look like plastic so much?
