Default Visiting Guitar Stores in Paris

I'm planning a trip to Paris in early April and would like to visit a couple of guitar stores. Does anyone have some suggestions for interesting stores to visit?

TIA for any ideas or suggestions.

Default Paris

In the Pigalle district right below Montmarte there is a whole street of shops. Really cool like 48th St NY used to be. Hookers down there as well!

I very much enjoyed my visit to R.F. Charle in 2001; it appears the store is now Galerie Casanova, and the Charles are no longer involved. Taking a look at the website, it looks like they still have a good selection. And the shop is in a neat section of Paris.

Keep in mind almost all of the guitar stores will be closed on Monday.

We were in Paris for two days a couple years ago. I wanted to find some music stores in hopes of picking up some souvenirs. Our days were full, from early morning to the evening hours. I found out our hotel was only a few blocks away from a whole run of music stores but they were closed when we were at the hotel. We were in the Pigalle/Montmartre area. I was a bit bummed, but there was so much to see in just a couple days... on the upside, We got our picture taken with Jerry Garcia’s doppelgänger, in a park near the Louvre.

Galerie Casanova is worth the visit even without the guitars (because of the location). It is next to the Louvre

Paul Beuscher is also downtown Paris, Woodbrass is in the North East.

The rest is in the Pigalle neighborhood, next to the Moulin Rouge, Montmartre...

Not a guitar store, but visiting Jim Morrison's grave is pretty cool.

Do not go into the bars near the Moulon Rouge by yourself. Lone patrons are likely to be rolled in some of those bars in that neighborhood that have barkers out front, very corrupt.
