If you are not an author or don’t write prose for a living you should. I felt like I was there with you, or better yet inside your head. What a wonderful guitar and a marvellous birthday present. Enjoy in good health until the end of your days

Played my first two performances with the new guitar this weekend. One was a typical stage setup with the K&K pickup. It sounded great. The second was a very large acoustic song circle I hosted at the club. I finally understand what CF Martin was doing in 1937 with this D-28. The guitar just works differently in the big group setting than the other guitars I have played in the past. The power, bass, treble, projection and clarity were all there. I had no trouble competing (when needed to get the group back in time), complementing, and accompanying. It was a very satisfying and validating session. Fingers crossed, I found my D-28.
