I've been listening to and learning a lot of Tom Petty since he passed. Here's a good rock tune, George Strait also covers it.

Lately, I’ve been listening to SRV, Petty, Skynyrd, Tragically Hip and the Beatles. Regarding the Fab 4, each Monday afternoon over the past month, my wife and I and a good friend have attended movie theatre showings of a four part filmed lecture series presented by a Beatles historian Scott Freiman that explored the engineering and production of “Deconstructing” the Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt. Peppers and White albums. Absolutely fascinating. Bob, as a recording engineer, if you haven’t seen these films, I think you’d really appreciate and enjoy them.

My favorite all-time I must say that at this point in my life I have to just take it in little treat doses because I listened to it for too much for too long

Thanks for posting this. I just checked him out and purchased his two solo guitar CDs from cdbaby.com. This is my kind of guitar!

Europa is another one that works well as an acoustic solo piece for fingerstyle.
