Default Acoustic Routes - Bert Jansch

If you have an hour and ten minutes available, you might like this program from many years ago. It was mind blowing listening to all the influential guitarists who crossed paths with Bert Jansch and comparing their styles and technique. Included are a couple of REALLY interesting stories about B Dylan and P Simon.

I love this too. Lots and lots of great people featured.

The «*Paper Houses*» duet with Bert and John Renbourn is marvelous. I’ve watched it repeatedly.

Bert is a mountain of greatness in voice, song, poetry, arrangement, attack...an original. Wish I could have seen him play.

I thought the Brownie McGhee segment was fantastic.

I read that Jimmy Page couldn't look him in the eye.

Yes, great documentary. I had seen a few years ago. Billy Connolly the host/narrator is also an accomplished folk banjo picker himself!

Davy Graham was also a huge influence too.

Yes, it's a lovely show. I've watched it two or three times.
