Default Here’s a phantom powered EQ

Fresh from the workbench, here is the product of my latest tinkering. For a few years, I’ve been working with a circuit that sounds great in a live setting, reducing quack, mud, and boxiness. Mostly, I make DIs, but this is an EQ pedal also.

Features:
  • Warm sound without boxiness and quack
  • Input and output arranged to fit on a pedalboard and keep cables from under foot
  • Lots of power options - phantom, battery, or DC power supply
  • Isolation of the instrument, amp, and sound system to defeat noise
  • Phase switch
  • Mute
  • Choice of EQ points - this one has 80, 260, 800, 2.6k, and 6k

The box is small enough to fit in a guitar case, so there is less to haul around and hook up.

In a case:
