Default NGGD - at last!

New Gibson Guitar Day.

Ordered Feb 6th - I took delivery yesterday Oct. 28th

2020 Gibson Custom Shop Historic Series 1957 SJ-200 Vintage Sunburst

So what's it like?

Well I feel like I've been playing upright piano's all my life and suddenly I'm sitting at a grand piano ... with the lid open.

Sometimes, less is more. Your brevity says it all. Really happy for you — Congratulations, it’s a beauty!

Thank you everyone, much appreciated.

There's a thread running about guitar smell and I have to say my new Gibson doesn't smell anywhere near as nice as a new Martin!

Store did a superb set-up job which is always nice too.

Period correct hard case is a nice touch and case 'candy' includes a Gibson cloth, leather key fob, truss rod tool and a complete D'Addario 2-way humidification kit.

My experience with Gibson SJ-200’s is that the good ones are great and the bad ones are awful. Glad that you got a good one.
