I always bounce between "Rubber Soul" and "Revolver," but I usually think "Rubber Soul." Both were awesome.

Kinda like picking my favorite chocolate.

Can we also name our favorite Beatle-influenced albums? If so, I'd have to say the Apple Venus albums by XTC, and Hope by Klaatu. If you've never heard Hope, check out the opening track here and tell me if it doesn't sound like it could have been a cut from Sgt. Pepper: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5grhuvcSes

For a while when these Klaatu albums came out it was speculated that this was the Beatles in dusguise... Fond memories indeed.

I'd agree but would probably substitute Meet the Beatles for Revolver...

OK, this is an all but impossible question to answer! But lately, after seeing the show for the 5th time, the soundtrack to "Love" at the Mirage in Vegas is on my frequent play list. Just amazing. See and experience this show if you can, best showof any type I have ever seen. When it was being put together all the remaining Beatles, the spouses of the others and Sir George Martin all had input on how the music was mixed and presented. Just.....GO!!!!!!!!!!

Any of them prior to Revolver. Liked all of them up to that point, after that not so much.

Least favorite song, Hey Jude (I just hate repetitious lyrics in songs).

The White Album in spite of some unevenness, followed by Abbey Road. There are some tracks on Let it Be that make me think about how awesome they would have been if they’d gone back on the road.

Abbey Road every day of the week, and twice on Sundays.

Can't say, it's like telling your kids which one of them is your favorite.

What's an album? Haha - kidding. One of my favorites is "Beatles For Sale" - the British album that was broken into two fairly unsatisfying albums here in the US. (Capitol Records was bad about this until Sgt. Pepper.) It's one of the few that I put on and play along with all the way through. Not quite as many great originals as A Hard Day's Night, but some great covers.

Yeah, it was funny how that came about.

The band had this idea that they would leave their names off the record so as to let the music speak for itself. They released their first album "3:47 EST" (retitled "Klaatu" in the US) and then headed off to England to record Hope. While they were away, the Beatles rumor started, fueled by the absent names and a US music writer's speculative article. The band eventually heard about it but didn't take it seriously, because it wasn't taken seriously in England; a UK music paper responded to the US article with their own article titled "Deaf Idiot Journalist Starts Beatles Rumour."

In the meantime, Capitol Records had nothing to stop them from capitalizing (ha, see what I did there?) on the confusion, and by the time Klaatu came back to the US, it was a giant mess. But they still left their names off their next two albums, which didn't help matters any.

That's like asking which child you like better. The genius of the Beatles is they have so many great albums it depends on what your mood is at the time.

In my first post, I couldn’t choose.
Actually the “Meet the Beatles” album is an incredible compilation.
It is both raw and polished, yet a great example of who the Beatles were in their truest most basic form. When I listen to it, I am reminded of the magnetism of the arrangements, the musicianship, the songwriting and the vocals and the tightness of a truly “live” recording of that genre’. There was nothing like it.
It is the flagship album of the first “real pop rock band.” It’s quite remarkable.
