That was a tough one to watch, Ken. Guess we'll have to wait to get 'em back in 2023, unless we meet them in the Rose Bowl before then. While I secretly had hope that Frost's UCF lighting would strike twice, I get that this is a different type of rebuild (e.g., different conference, recruiting geography, etc.). I just hope he has the Big Red Machine humming along by the time we line up against Oklahoma again in 2021!

By "better" you must mean easier.

The toughest (i.e. SEC) schedules include 2-3 real cupcakes, sprinkled with Top 10 teams. For example, Auburn this season plays Oregon, Texas A&M, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Alabama, and home games against Kent and Samford. Not much middle ground.

Yes, it was a tough one. Especially for me here behind enemy lines!

Gotta hand it to the Buffs, though, they got better as the game went on.

I loved the "sea of red" in that stadium, though. Best fans in college football!

Alabama non conference games: Duke, New Mexico State, South Miss West Carolina

Ohio State non conference games: Florida Atlantic, Cincinnati, Miami Ohio

Alabama plays one more out-of-conference game, and 4 definite cupcakes, OSU, 2 cupcakes....

Here are the current "Strength of Schedule" rankings. You're correct as to 'Bama, compared to many other SEC teams - Ranked #30, whereas 4 of the top 7 are also from SEC West. OSU is #51.

Syracuse is a huge underdog (who isn't?) against Clemson today, but you never know. I'd love to see the status quo get shuffled - that would do it.

I don't think Syracuse can pull that off. Go Tigers!

Right now, BYU is leading USC with 5:00 to go.

Oh well, USC just tied it.

PSU won a tight game against Pitt. Thankfully, our defense showed up b/c the offense was ineffective. Next up: a Friday night game w/ Maryland.

Wildcats blow away UNLV. Gotta take care of non-Conference teams if we want to get into a serious bowl.

How about Kansas beating BC, in Boston - dominating, after being down 10-0. First win against a "Power 5" opponent, since 2008. I'm a Jayhawk alum. This is a massive win, for our program. One of the biggest upsets in the past couple of season, me thinks...

(Note K-State also won, on the road, at Miss State - I think their first win on the road, versus an SEC team).

Rock Chalk, Jayhawk, KU!!

Don't forget the in-conference cupcake from the state up north that the Bucks play on 11/30.

Buckeyes handed it to Indiana,as they should have. I'm happy to see coach Day is taking it slow bringing his new QB Fields up to speed. Fields is missing a few too many run opportunities, which I believe he will overcome with experience. He's definitely got the skill set to be a great run/pass QB.
Looking forward to another great year, ending with another trouncing of TTUN.

No movement in the top 9 teams in both the AP Top 25 and Coaches Poll rankings. Clemson is running away with the #1 votes.

The NCAA polls are more predictable than the electoral college.
