I don’t care for the logo — should have done something more like the Lowden signature rather than something very mechanical that looks like a late 90s photocopied typewriter font. Feels really out of place on some otherwise elegant guitars.

That's because the body design is identical. The same with the small model which is basically the 'Wee Lowden' but with laminate construction.

Maybe wait until you can play one and reserve judgement until then? There's nothing wrong with laminates; do you have any idea how much you'd have to pay for a Greg Smallman classical guitar built using laminates? If I said $20,000+ would that surprise you? I would also trust George Lowden not to put his name on anything sub-standard.

I wunder how much production capacity they have. Will they be able to supply the big stores like GC and SA.

I thought I was gas-proof but one of those S models might be a nice addition.

And, a Wee might just be a better travel guitar than my Dread Jr.

Oh man, the gas is building up. There's only one way to get rid of it!

I'm wondering if they're something current Lowden vendors will pick up, just so they have an entry-level model that's unique to everything else?

I have no doubt that they will, and I suspect the Lowden name will sell more of them than Sheeran's will; it's what attracts me anyway.

Wonder what kind of gig bag it comes in. And if you would want a hard shell case, would you need to get the case that fits the Lowden S. Those cases are heavy.

Wonder if the neck will feel the same as the Lowden S series.

Questions questions questions. I look forward to getting my hands on it.

Too bad the cedar walnut doesn't come with a cutaway. Picky picky picky.

And I agree with the comments made about the logo. Looks stiff.

So often instruments/gear introduced at NAMM don't come to the stores for months. Ah the anticipation.

I anticipate the gig bags will be decent quality-these guitars are competing in the same price/quality ballpark as the GS Mini. I'm guessing of course since prices haven't been announced yet, but I reckon you'll get as good a bag as the Taylor one. As for hard cases, Hiscox make a Lowden-branded Liteflite which is much lighter (and stronger), than the custom cases.

Junior Lowden says it’s a proper soft case, not a gig bag....whatever that means.

I have a serious question.

After listening to the Sheeran/Lowden clip, does anyone really like the sound of that guitar?

Ah, well in that case it may be something like the semi-rigid Cordura and hard foam cases supplied with the Yamaha L-series.

Not enough to make any kind of objective assessment without playing one. Trying to assess a guitar from a video is about as productive as judging a person by their appearance.
