Great job on that one, Derek. I was busy when this was making the rounds and wasn't able to post at the time. I like the descending bass lines and the way it changes from happy to sad throughout. Reminds me of a very old widow neighbor of mine when she’s playing with her great-grandchildren. Tranquil joy and an unescapable undercurrent of sadness.

As always, a composition with extra twists and turns. This seems a montage of different influences, but assembled without any jarring jumping around, the different currents flow together.

And wonderfully played, of course.
