Default Di Marzio pickup

Picked up a Di Marzio transducer pickup today @ the factory here on Staten Island,anyone find a good sweetspot for these type P/U`s???

Welcome to the search for amplified acoustic archtop sound! I have tried everything:

Pick Up the World transducer
K&K pure archtop
MacIntyre feather
Bartlett clip on mic
Audio Technic AT821 mic
Schertlyer dyn-G

The only one I still have installed is the Schertler, on one guitar. If I want to amplify, I use a mic and a PA.

That's not to say that none of the above work, but none of them are as good as the options we have in flattops. They all require significant EQ to sound good. To me, they end up being more work than a mic.

I applaud your effort though. I really want to know if someone finds something!
