Wow! Seeing that ravishingly pretty little guitar really got my heart racing. I need to calm down, or I'll hyperventilate and pass out! Whew!
Steve and Ryan, you guys never fail to amaze and delight. Awesome work!

Steve, I have really missed your hyperbolic enthusiasm.
Thank you for your effusive praise, and your ability to make everyone feel special. Verrrrry kind of you, sir. Welcome back (again)!

Wow. At first I was not sure I liked that back in the raw but under a finish it really looks fantastic. Love the details too she's a beauty.

Here is the promised video of my lovely little ultra light guitar made by talented luthiers - Stephen Kinnaird and Ryan Middlebrook. At the end of the video I play the beloved Hymn "When I Survey the Wondrous Cross". Arr. by myself and Steve DeVries. Hope you enjoy.

That is absolutely wonderful! Talk about a full orchestral sound, wow, that sounds fantastic. It fills the room. Wonderful playing also, my goodness. Steve, that guitar may have needed a scratch pad if Christie is going to be hitting it like that LOL!

Congrats to all involved in this project and thank you for posting this video, beautiful.

Well, that’s just wonderful.

It’s great to see the result beyond the finished instrument...to the ultimate goal - the music, and the connection between player and guitar...lovely!

The guitar is wonderful sounding and Christie plays it beautifully!

Christie, you are grinning ear to ear... so lovely.

Now This has me contemplating Spanish Cedar for my next Build with John. Is anything lighter? It sounds GREAT in this video!!!

You have made a beauty!

That's a wonderful sounding guitar, beautifully played. I may have to rethink my reluctance to order a parlor size from Steve - there's nothing small sounding about your guitar at all!

Thanks folks for the very kind words!
It was a delight building this instrument for Christie who, as you can see, takes such joy in playing the guitar. Her enthusiasm was/is infectious, and I'm sure got into this little 00 as we were building it.
Thanks for posting this Christie, and for trusting us with this commission.
Please pop in anytime and share whatever new tunes you're working on!

Steve
