Default Newbie to Classical Guitars - String Question

I’m a steel string guitar guy and just ordered a Córdoba C10 Crossover. What strings are a good tonal fit for the Spruce/EIR wood combination?

Not specific to the combination you asked about, but D'Addario EJ-45 would be a good starting point. You'll probably have to try several different types to find out what is best for your guitar and ears. For years I used Savarez Red Cards for my EIR/Cedar classical.

Agree with the others above that D'Add EJ45 is a real good place to start, and maybe finish, though many replace the third string with a fluorocarbon one-
I use the Knobloch Actives CX medium-tension G.

As a beginner I get better tone from normal tension strings.

Default Normal tension and tone?

I'm in a similar place as the original poster: I want to replace the strings on my Cordoba C10 and want the best possible tone - one that is warm and reflects a Spanish guitar sound. This guitar came with Savarez Cristal Corum High Tension 500CJ.

As a newbie, I can't tell whether my technique is bad or if the strings seem overly bright. Would I be wise to try normal tension strings or follow the manufacturer's choice of high tension strings?

Savarez are really good. I like the 520F pack, wound G string..

But don't do the 520P, the G string is wound with plastic. I don't get that?..

The F pack is some sort of silver.

One set I'd try is Augustine Classic/Red or Aug Imperial/Red.
