Glad to see y'all following along. Appreciate the comments.

Bruce, looks like this build is cruising at Sexauer speed. You haven't lost a step. Side looks really good.

This sounds like a great event. I would like to attend one and may need to wait until "Biggest"

I got a bit ambitious with the geometry of the cutaway on this guitar. I know that because I failed to get the bend and destroyed the cutaway side for this guitar. That explains the lapse in my posting. None of my usual connections had any to sell me, and I wondered whether I might have to beg CigarFan to choose a different material. That would have been a first for me!

Then I remembered that when I made the Cuban mahogany Schoenberg we had to pick from 2 sets. I called Eric and he didn't recall having a set on hand, so I went down to his shop and spent several hours searching though his not particularly organized stash. I found it on top of a shelving system in the back of the office and entirely out of sight. He could have charged me anything, but was a total gentleman and chose the figure I hope for over the one I feared. I owe him one.

The new sides bent as expected:

I'm with you John ... a different way than I'm used to building, yet perfectly logical and of course the finished product is always great! I also love watching this thread.

Nice of Eric. He’s a good guy. I was sorry to see him decamp to the left coast as it was fun to stop in to his shop for a visit.

The guitar looks amazing.

I played that hog 0 that you brought to BIG last year and it was fantastic. I'm sure this will be equally stellar.
