I should also first declare an underlying aversion to mag P/Us so bear that in mind if you're already a fan.

Usually when folks are looking for a natural sound and a simple, non-intrusive installation somebody pipes in to suggest the Schatten HFN. I've not used one myself but have been impressed by some of the reviews and opinions expressed on these pages and elsewhere.

One more for the pot.

I love the sound of a good magnetic soundhole pickup with a mic blended in. I tried a bunch of different pickups (including the M1 and M80) but was never happy until I found the Schertler AG6/S-Mic blend. I now have that pickup in three acoustics.

And the winner is...the K&K Double Helix Solo!
I'm lovin' the sound I'm getting now...very natural! Using the included endpin jack adapter I was able to run a line from this soundhole pickup and a separate line from the endpin jack & factory installed LR Baggs Duet 2 into a Red-Eye Twin preamp. I used the Duet 2 mic option to get a very nice blend of the internal mic and the Double Helix Solo combined. My amp is a Bose L1 Compact. The Double Helix Solo also sounds great by itself! I'm still playing around with some of the settings and looking forward to adding my Bose T1 ToneMatch (thank you fellow AGF member "meb" Michael for selling it to me) into the mix (pun intended). I'm also looking forward to trying this in my other guitars that either already have the K&K mini or no pickup at all to see what happens.
Thank you all for your excellent suggestions!

Awesome! Good call. Nice to finally see the DHS getting some well-deserved notice. It's flown under the radar for too long. I'm still really digging mine for sure.

options. I have heard very mixed opinions on the DHS..I want to hear it!

Sounds fun! If I'm in town and the big if...if the Game Of Germs is wrangled into better submission. Here's to hoping it works out.

I have a new Fishman Rare Earth I would let go for cheap if you are interested.
I've had the M1 and M80 and prefer the Fishman. Less bulky and obtrusive and sounds warmer to my ears and not as "electric" sounding.
