2001 DesertBurst Studio Plus Top. Roller bridge with vintage Bigsby trem. What a killer guitar! This is no show piece, by any means. It gets played out a lot.

I'll be the oddball here with a double cutaway. This is my '95 Les Paul Special (P90 pickups) which was my main gigging guitar when I was gigging.

Fantastic! I had to do some Googling on it. Reeder is an avid collector. How did you acquire it? Very limited production numbers.

Mike and i have been friends for several years and when i heard Gibson was making a Collector's Choice model based on this guitar, which he owns, i was fortunate to be able to make that happen. I'm very very happy with it, thanks for your interest and post! Okay here's another pic, the day i picked it up at Mike's Music and his number 1 in the run.

Some great Lesters here guys...

I have a 2012 LP Traditional loaded with Joe Bonamassa pickups and some other capacitor upgrades.

I've also got a Gibson Custom Shop 'Blues master LP which is a special run that Andertons specced with the custom shop.

[IMG][/IMG]

Assuming someone might be interested, Specs (taken from Andertons webpage) are.

The Gibson Blues Master guitars are a line of Gibson Custom Made 2 Measure instruments that have been carefully spec’d by our very own Lee Anderton and Danish Pete. In a nutshell, they’re Andertons spec Gibson Custom Shop instruments.

These guitars have been spec’d by using the new Made 2 Measure ordering system which allows you to do things like – have a medium flame top (Ala 1958 Les Pauls) with a regular neck shape (Which would be akin to a 59 Les Paul neck).

This particular guitar has got a regular shaped 59 neck with a AAA flame 58 body in the stunning Lemon Burst finish. Though these guitars have no weight relief – just like the Les Pauls of old, they are made from lightweight Mahogany.

Pickups & Electronics

The pickups are the voice of an electric guitar and this was possibly the most important choice for us to make when spec’ing these guitars. We asked Danish Pete which pickups were his favourite from the Gibson Custom Shop and his choice was from their Collectors Choice #46. The Scott Bradoka pickups are fat and warm sounding PAFs with a top-mid harmonic sweet spot that just separated them from the rest.

We also decided to include a coil tap on the neck pickup volume control which reverses the neck pickup polarity. This gives you the famous ‘out-of-phase’ Peter Green Les Paul tone.

A touch of Gibson Custom Shop Class

The Blues Master range shows off Gibson’s constant strive to make the best quality guitars available today, through the use of numerous historically-accurate features to give you the best recreation of their guitars from the golden era. These include the following:

Aniline Dye
Full Hide Glue Construction
True Historic Parts & Plastics
Hand Sanded
Long Neck Tenon
Custom Shop Certificate of Authenticity
The Blues Master is the result of our love for Gibson Les Pauls, the blues, and the quest for the perfect tone. If you want to know more about this guitar, Gibson's Custom shop, or even the build processes involved, do not hesitate to get in touch!
