The word "Economy" is li'l dry and price oriented, whereas instruments are seen as value oriented. As is already suggested, an Economy model is essentially "Entry Level" or "Beginner" model, so I would suggest

Colt, Tyro or Neophyte (or just Neo) : All meaning beginner (or new)

OR

Maverick : A person who departs from accepted course - as is this model from your other models

I live in a small town in Kansas called Tyro. The definition of Tyro is beginner or novice. So how about the "Tyro" model.
