Shooting the photos (with a good camera) is almost as fun as building the guitar!

Here's a couple "shallow depth of field" shots that I love.

The Ebony binding really made all this work and Kevin Ryan's new flexible Abalone strips (Zipflex) was a dream to work with.

The figure on the back is soooo fantastic. I mean the whole thing is superbly looking.

I'm almost as enthusiastic as Coke Zero over Claro walnut.
It is such a stunning wood, and yours is right up there.
Very nice looking guitar guys!

Visually a great match between the top and sides. Getting reds to work together right is tough, but it looks like it all pulled together.

A looker!

I just realized that we never posted "the finished product" photos on this thread and wanted to share them.

Why now?

We were really pleased at how this guitar turned out for only our 6th guitar - and we just got a review from the owner. We have loaded it to our website along with photos of the proud owner and an audio clip that he sent us.

Here's the link to the review on our web site

Enjoy!

Man what a great, heart-felt review. Not undeserved, I'm sure! Congrats on another beautiful job and congratulations to the new family.

That is a gorgeous looking guitar. I love the wood combination and appointments. Wish I could take it for a test drive.

Beautiful instrument. It's even more wonderful how the new owner feels about it all.

Johann-

Congratulations on your wedding, and wonderful gift from your bride. That Brunner guitar is gorgeous, and so is its tone. I like your playing as well. Brian Fry is building me a redwood over walnut, and hearing the audio clip is confirmation that I've made the right tonewood choices. Thank you Brunner and Johann.

DAVE
