The game last night was fun to watch. McDavid is a beast! So happy the Oilers are making a series of it. The Panthers system and goaltending certainly confounded Edmonton in the first three games. They seem to have figured it out. Hopefully, they can keep it going all the way to the end. Wouldn’t that be a heck of a comeback?! They certainly have the talent. GO OIL GO!!!

Series now tied at 3-3. If the Oilers complete the comeback, it'll be the first time a team has come back from a 0-3 series deficit in the Stanley Cup Final since 1942.

It's worth noting that in 1942 the Red Wings were the team who blew the 3-0 lead, but they were the 5th place team in a 7 team league and had finished the regular season below .500, so it wasn't terribly surprising that they lost in that manner.

The last 3 games have been pretty captivating. Whichever way the final game goes, it should be epic.

Thanks for reminding me of that!

Sorry about that. If it helps in a 'misery loves company' kind of way, the next team to blow a 3-0 lead in the playoffs (not finals) was my Penguins in 1975. I was in attendance for the game 7 home loss (1-0) to the Islanders.

I guess it's surprising, then, that they won the first three straight!

Ya got that right, Larry!

There are not two more exciting words in the English language than...GAME SEVEN!!! Go Oilers!

The momentum is on their side, with most of the pressure on the Panthers who surely won’t want to be “that” team...you know what I mean. I’ll be attending a game party at a friend’s house...pizza, wings, chips, beer. I hope for a close, thrilling game...and leave the party with the warm and fuzzies.

Great, a game seven party.

What's the address, we can ALL meet there.

Go Oilers!!!

Hats off to the Florida Panthers. First SC win in franchise history. Hard fought battle. The Oilers were great. I'm exhausted from this series. I can't imagine how the players feel!
Have a great summer, AGF NHL fans!

I watched every minute of the 7 game finals. Game 7 was heartbreaking, but I'm proud of the Oilers and what they accomplished this year. Hard to believe they started out the season with that terrible record before things started to come together.

Congrats to the Panthers. They're a great team and deserve the Cup.

Congrats to the Panthers! I see the NHL paid tribute to Jerry West.

Florida's discipline was amazing. The final 4 minutes the Oilers had total possession and kept cycling without being able to get off a good shot. There's always a guy coming out of nowhere to get in front of you. During the whole Rangers series I was trying to figure out why we were always skating 1 on 2 or 1 on 3 but couldn't. Panthers weren't playing a trap but they were always there. I thought the Conn Smythe went to the right guy.
