Do you think a combination of these would be great?
I'm considering giving it a try. I expect DaddarioNB to make my BI more mellow and smooth.
I am curious about the characteristics and bass of the Daddario NB

I don’t have a Rainsong, but I can tell you that D’Addario NBs are easily my favourite strings for my Emerald X20. Lovely warm sound, but with some bite if you want it. They feel great, last a long time, and have the added benefit of looking really good too, against the red CF weave of the X20.

I also don't have a Rainsong, but the D' NBs became a favorite on my Cargo. The X-7 has moved on to Thomastik-Infield Plectrums but I can't bring myself to buy the pricey strings for the less-played Cargo. I, too, like the looks of the NBs, on a black Cargo, just as a bonus. Anyway, sounds like worth a try.
