RIP. Hard to believe that she was 79; there’s a part of me that is still stuck in the year 1977 listening to Rumours in a friend’s basement apartment while we played hearts with some other friends and drank too much beer. We were young then.

Amen to that. I had the same feeling.

And RIP. Hard to believe.

She wrote and sang most of their biggest hits. Sorry to hear.

Yes..so sad to see people that were a huge part of our youth and it’s soundtrack to it leave as they feel like family..
She was very talented all the way around.. writer, player and singer. Her voice was very angelic. She left for 10 years due to fear of flying but returned. One of the last things she did was a duo album she did with Lindsey after he was kicked out. She seemed like a very sweet down to earth women, Very reserved and quiet.. like George in the Beatles but the talent huge..
She also reminded me of Princess Di.. RIP Princess Christine your music will resonate forever!!

Bob
And yet, in the land of her birth, Stevie Nicks always seemed to grab the headlines. I never understood that as she had the better voice. And as for Brummies, boy did that city produce some of the greatest: Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, The Moody Blues, ELO, The Move etc etc

Speaking of the lady in question, who can forget this too? (Just realised this is the song in frank's broken link above)

So sad...one more of the greats gone. But she left us so much great music and so many memories of a time past to recall. Rest In Peace Christine...
